Sports Leaders

Welcome Ms Naughton

Ms Naughton is our great teacher because she played seven and ballrush .We are the luckiest kids.

Beach planting

Last week room7 went down to the back beach. Ihaia was my buddy we planted 30 plants we tried to dig up this log. But it was too hard then we saw these fat bugs under the log. On the way back we saw fish we tried too cach them but it was too hard but we did do handistands.Then we killed the fat bugs.

Discovery learning

On the the 30 of June on Wednesday we went and helped some little year1 classes room13 14 15 do descovery learning.  I was doing dressups with my little buddy it was so fun and very funny watching the dressups.  I am in the middle on the left of me is Samul and on the right of me is Levi.  There was alot of activites but I can not remember them all because there was so many.

My greatest feat walks!

These are our greatest feat padometers.  We have walked 488.9 kms!!!   Our goal is to be able to walk to Christchurch!!  we have walked to Hamner so far!!...  

Miss Thomas- student teacher

Hi, my name is Miss Thomas and I've been lucky enough to work with room 7 over the last 5 weeks as a student teacher. I'll be taking away some great memories of my time at Tahunanui school- including fun lessons (flying paper planes!), great games (I'm not so good at silent ball!!) and lots of creating, doing and LEARNING. The children in room 7 are a fantastic group, full of enthusiasm and really kind. Thanks to all of them and their lovely teacher Miss Schwass for looking after me during my time at Tahunanui school.

Soccer

At the start of the term we did some soccer skills.  Here I geting a goal. It was FUN!

Vertical Limits

I'm at Vertical Limits. It was fun there because we got to climb on the big, high climbing wall ever. In this picture Isabel, Daina and I are working together. I'm just about to start climbing. It was amazing to get up there!

Paretai camp river

At Paretai we camped right next to the river so when our teachers said we could go in the river we were straight in our togs and in the water.In this pitcure Michaela and I are trying very hard not to freeze our selves to death !

On the first term we made our selvs out  of art stuff.It was fun.Here we are Harrison and Mia!
